Anyone who would like to use Photoshop.


Professional, top notch imagery is critical in differentiating your creative work from the others. Photoshop is a foundational tool for most creative projects and effective designers know Photoshop well. This class is an easy and fun way to learn layer basics, photo retouching and image editing. If you want to create great images, this is the place to start.

This training meets 4 times. Attendees are expected to attend all 4 sessions:

While this workshop will use examples from Photoshop CC 2017, previous versions may be addressed. Complete information on technical requirements will be sent to registrants, including sample documents and access to free trial copies of Photoshop.

Rob Porter is the President of Training Objectives, Corp, based in Portland, Oregon. He has over 20 years of experience working in Adult Education and technology. Rob is a developer and instructor for a variety of eLearning tools, including Storyline, Articulate Studio, Adobe Presenter, Captivate, Camtasia and Adobe Connect. He is also well versed in Learning Management Systems (LMS) technologies including SCORM and TinCan. In addition to have been an administrator for a variety of LMS’s including Moodle, HealthStream, Adobe Connect, Canvas,Meridian and others, Rob was the project manager for the effort to create the LMS platforms for Portland Public Schools and the British Columbia Dental Association from the ground up. He actively consults for local, regional, national and global organizations that are looking to take their education to the next level.

Program Details

  • All sessions will be held online.
  • The workshop is comprised of four days that will last from 9 am to 12 pm each day on four consecutive Thursdays.
  • Limited to 25 participants.
  • Classes will be held for as few as 2 people.
  • Groups of two or more may request for onsite classes at the client site within 10 miles of Portland for an additional $100.

CPLP Recertification Credit

CPLPs earn one recertification point/credit for each physical hour of continuing education within one’s current role/job or involving a new experience or content. You will need to keep records of the event and prepare any paperwork required by National ATD. CPLP Website.
