Refine your visualizations, tell your story, achieve your objective

Join TD Cascadia and member/guest Monique Babin to refine your approach to storytelling. Attendees will learn diverse data visualization techniques, develop best practices to visually communicate a story, and collaborate with peers to co-create visualizations that help achieve business objectives.

Specific learning outcomes include how to:
1)Identify essential steps for basic data analysis and organization,
2) Recognize and select effective chart types,
3) Learn tools and techniques to communicate data with high visual impact,
4) Discuss and review free visualization tools for future use.

Monique Babin is an accomplished Learning Experience Designer with nearly two decades of experience in instructional design and education. She currently serves in a senior role on the Customer Education and Engagement team at Ellucian, the industry leader in higher education edtech solutions. Monique's rich career journey spans diverse industries, including higher education, sportswear, aerospace, defense, and high tech. Before transitioning to instructional design for industry, she dedicated over a decade to higher education, designing and delivering writing, research, and business communications courses in face-to-face, blended, and online formats. Monique's career is marked by a lasting commitment to creating engaging learning experiences and to improving workplace performance through innovative training programs.

• Our Chapter Meetings are a great opportunity to connect with talent development colleagues from across the area as well as to learn something new as each meeting focuses on a different topic related to our profession. Meetings take place the place the fourth Monday of each month (except December) and are open to members and non-members alike.
