Overview
As eLearning continues to gain popularity, now is the time to take advantage of this unique Articulate Storyline Bootcamp. Through hands-on practice, you’ll learn to use the simple and powerful features of the Storyline authoring tool. In addition, you’ll pick up design principles behind making great content.
Your instructor will be renowned facilitator Kevin Siegel. Kevin will bring his humorous energy, technical expertise, and expert guidance through step-by-step lessons. In addition, you get digital copies of his popular Storyline books, complete with numerous screenshots and exercises.
This virtual, hands-on, and project-based workshop consists of two days: beginning and advanced. You can sign up for one or both days. And by taking both days, you receive a voucher to complete the Certified Storyline Developer (ICSD) certification exam (see “Certification” below).
Outcomes
Day One: Articulate Storyline 360 Beginner Workshop – During the first day of this workshop, you will have an opportunity to:
- Understand the Storyline interface
- Create scenes and slides
- Import PowerPoint slides into a project
- Create branching scenarios
- Work with the timeline
- Add interactive objects
- Add triggers
- Work with layers
- Publish
Day Two: Articulate Storyline 360 Advanced Workshop – During the second day of this workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Record software simulations
- Record video demos
- Work with conditional triggers
- Customize the player
- Add quizzes
- Record, import, and edit voiceover audio
- Work with sliders and dials
Any Required or Suggested Technologies for Participants:
- Storyline 360 must be installed on your laptop. You can access a 60-day trial version here.

Certification:
Participants who attend both days will receive a voucher to complete the IconLogic Certified Storyline Developer (ICSD) certification exam, a $295 value. Please note that additional study and practice outside of this two-day workshop will be necessary to be prepared for the exam.

Kevin Siegel is a Certified Master Trainer (CMT), Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+), and Certified Online Training Professional (COTP). Following a successful tour of duty with the U.S. Coast Guard (where Kevin was twice decorated with the Coast Guard’s Achievement Medal), he has spent decades as a technical communicator, classroom and online trainer, eLearning developer, publisher, and public speaker. Kevin, who founded IconLogic, Inc., in the early 1990s, has written hundreds of training books for adult learners.
