If you could build the perfect training program, complete with ultra-modern facilities and technology, what would it look like? No need to imagine–now you have a chance to see it for yourself!

You’re invited for a behind-the-scenes look at the Knife River Training Center that opened this year. This cutting-edge facility supports learning for both industrial and business skills through innovative, hands-on training techniques, both in-person and virtual. It’s about an hour south of Portland, 30 minutes from Salem, and 45 minutes from Eugene.

You’ll learn the story of how they made a business case to build the center, and how they used data to inform every step. Through return-on-investment analysis and evidence of instruction, they have infused best practices into the instruction, the smart technology, and even the creature comforts. And you’ll be amazed by the super dome, used for equipment training no matter the weather.

Don’t miss this unique chance to glimpse what’s possible in training!

Key Takeaways:

  • Examples of using data to inform learning strategies

  • New ideas for using technology in the classroom

  • Best practices (both old and new) for instructional design and delivery
