Join us on Zoom every third Thursday of the month between 12:00 and 1:00 pm PST.

During our August 28 meeting, our discussion will focus on:

Facilitating for Growth: Approaches for Conversations around Identity.

ATD Cascadia Member, Isaiah J. Sheffield-Thergood, will help us tackle the challenge of engaging tough conversations involving identity. Building from the perspective that DEI efforts are often stifled due to a lack of constructive conversations, we'll discuss and share practices for: identifying opportunities for productive dialogue, drawing the most out of an identity-based/emotionally charged conversation, and respecting participants' identities and viewpoints while embracing the learning in discomfort.
